ABOUT ME
I began my artistic journey 4 years ago. While working full-time in Finance, I started creating unique pieces, initially to disconnect from my work - Painting late at night and during the weekends. As I explored different art styles, I eventually found the central message I wanted to share through my art. That is what truly ignited my passion for creating art. Recently, I decided to quit my corporate job to become a full-time artist and pursue a career in this creative industry.
Every piece was originally painted by me using oil paint on canvas. For the "Femme Fatale" collection, I used vintage magazine articles on most of my backdrops - going from 1960's Playboy to 1980's Penthouse magazines - to add layers of meaning to the embedded messages within each piece.
I am really excited to explore this new chapter of my life. Follow me on this new journey @artbyendreane on all platforms!

MAKING MY VISIONS
COME TO LIFE
Each piece explores different facets of how we are seen, understood, or misunderstood. My inspiration stems from the exploration of how our identity is shaped, viewed, and protected. Through the lens of contemporary surrealism, I aspire to bring forth the gaps between perception and reality, question how much of a person can truly be known by others and how outside influences - whether societal, romantic, or digital - Interfere with, or distort our perception of others. Presented in an eccentric and thought-provoking manner, I invite viewers to rethink their assumptions about identity and the layers that lie beneath what is immediately visible.
